Experts at Immigrant Invest have confirmed that demand for Caribbean property has started to increase since the start of the coronavirus pandemic. Investors are buying properties to obtain a second citizenship. Some investors are buying properties outside the program. For example, in the summer of 2021, a foreign investor paid $7.1 million for the residence of two villas at Secret Bay Resort in Dominica.

The growing popularity of the buy-to-let option is due to the fact that it is a more lucrative option. Rental yields for properties in Caribbean resorts are 3一5% a year, with high season yields of up to 10%. After five years, the property can be sold and the money invested can be fully recovered.
